ICF Global Summit 2021 – October 26th – 28th
- The ICF Summit 2021 has started!
This year’s virtual conference takes place from October 26th to October 28th, 2021. The main topic is “Communities on the verge” and asks the question of what makes an intelligent Community and how to get there.
October 26th – Day 1 – “Planning and Economic development day”
The day was a mix of Panel discussions and an introduction of two of the top 7 Intelligent Communities by ICF: Binh Duong Smart City, Vietnam and Curitiba, Paraná, Brazil.
October 27th – Day 2 – “Workshop day”
Like the day before there will be two more introductions of the top 7 Intelligent Communities: Langley Township, British Columbia, Canada and Mississauga, Ontario, Canada.
There are also two workshops planned:
- Bringing Broadband to Your Community by Dr. Norman Jacknis
- Taking Your City from Connectivity to Community by Robert Bell
October 28th – Day 3 – “Intelligent Community of the year”
Next to a CIO Roundtable and a Keynote titled “Communities on the verge…of what?” the last three of the Top 7 Intelligent Communities are introduced:
- Moscow, Russia
- Townsville, Queensland, Australia
- Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada
