Thomas is the founder and CEO of Munich based technology strategy consulting company CE21. CE21 gives advice on ICT-infrastructure, technology innovation and information security / data protection to large companies as well as governmental organizations.
Thomas started his professional career working in technology research at the Chair of information Management, University of Wuerzburg, Prof. Thome. He later worked in strategy consultancy at DMC (Detecon Marketing Consulting, Frankfurt) and founded and successfully sold an internet agency (Internet & Service GmbH) as well as a logistics software company (AISYS AG). He holds a Master in Business Administration (Dipl.-Kfm.) from Wuerzburg University.
Thomas is the author of a dozen books on digital infrastructure and digitalization topics including: “Reorganizing Data and Voice Networks” (Artech House Publishers, Boston), “Die Internetfalle” (Frankfurter Allgemeine Buch, Frankfurt) und “Understanding Cyber Risk” (Routledge Publishers, London).
Thomas is well known as a leading technology expert from German media (including NTV “Telebörse”, ARD “tagesthemen”, Pro7 “Galileo”, Sat1 “Akte” and other formats with millions of viewers or readers).
